I manage risks of financing international renewable energy projects, such as wind, solar and hydro power plants. This role includes contributing to the decision-making process by providing comprehensive financial, legal and technical risk assessments, utilizing complex Excel-based models for sensitivity analysis (stress testing) and rating preparations. Prior to this position, I completed a general trainee program at BayernLB and gained experience in various departments, including a foreign assignment in the US branch in New York. As a Klaus Murmann scholar, I studied mathematics and graduated with a master's degree, which has provided me with a strong quantitative understanding that is valuable in the complex realm of structured finance. Analyzing Risk Models in the Independent Validation Unit (IVU), I gathered first experience in Risk Control and Finance.
