Lauching of a national study about the hazardous waste management situation in Portugal. Data analysis from Portuguese and International industrial and hazardous waste management operators. Assistance in the regulation of waste management. Assistance in decision taking of the most suitable waste treatment operations.

Sampling of gaseous effluents at stationary sources. Verification of the emissions limit values compliance. Realization of technical reports and calculations (concentrations, mass-flows, etc...). Maintenance and calibration of gaseous analyzers.

Monitoring of waste management processes and operations. Realization of tasks linked to hygiene and safety at work.

Master studies in Environmental Engineering focused in waste treatment, waste management, life cycle analysis and biomass energy conversion. Also acquired knowledge in gaseous effluents and waste water chemical and biological treatments. Thesis: "Char CO2 gasification in a fluidized bed" - 18 / 20

Three years degree in Environmental Engineering, corresponding to the first cycle qualification of the Bologna Process.
