HR responsibility for all Akamai locations in Europe and Asia. Business Partner for Sales, Service and Engineering. Responsible for HR Operations, Recruiting, Compensation & Benefits, Training & Development. Additionally I worked from 09/2007 to 03/2009 in our HQ in Cambridge, MA, USA as the HR Business Partner for US Sales, Services and Marketing.

During my time at Sun Microsystems I had several HR leadership roles for different regions. It started with Germany, Austria and Switzerland. In 2002 the responsibility for Eastern Europe, Middle East and Africa was added. From 2003 to 2005 I was assigned to the role HR Director Sun Microsystems Japan, based in Tokyo. The last role I had with Sun was the HR Director for Global Client Solutions based in Palo Alto, CA, USA.

I began my career in HR administration and payroll, followed by a project to implement a new PC based Software for Siemens global HR. From 09/1992 to 08/1993 I was HR Manager for the Siemens Cable Company in Neustadt/Coburg, followed by a role as HR Manager for the Siemens Lightning Company in Traunreut. Main focus was restructuring.
