Engineering and operational support in the Perimeter Security team

Manager of Network Services team in Asia, responsible for network, voice and AV services in Commerbank's Asian offices. During my time here I also became responsible for the Data Centres in the region. Designed and implemented networks for new data centre in Singapore, office move in Singapore, data centre move in Tokyo, new DR site in Tokyo and new DR set in Shanghai.

Member of the network team primarily responsible for perimeter security. During this time I also designed and implemented a new firewall setup for market data (unicast and multicast) and third party connectivity.

I started out in the Internet services team responsible for firewalls, proxies, SMTP and DNS servers. During my time here I replaced our SMTP environment twice, once moving from Sendmail to EXIM and then from EXIM to Ironport. Whilst in this team I worked with the network team and learnt networking and eventually merged into the network team. During my time here I was involved in several data centre moves and an office move.

I started working in the email team working initially with MS Mail & Netware, then Exchange. I then moved into the server team responsible for Network and Windows servers. Whilst in this team I was also involved with the backup team, writing programs and scripts to ensure the environment was monitored correctly and the best performance was obtained.
