I was placed at a Dutch government agency as part of an IBM support team supporting the new tax/welfare systems. I support all WMQ systems connecting from the tax office and all other relevant government agencies.

I was part of a team that build up the second line IT support team from scratch. After 6 months of handover from Atos KPMG consulting UK (AKC) , we have taken over full support of the OSS/BSS. We have streamlined the system processes while maintaining the integrity of the system. Automating numerous manual tasks has made it possible for us to focus on the weak points of the system and to deliver a better service to our internal and external customers.

My main responsibility, the Number portability system. I developed new capabilities, did all sorts of trouble shooting, from UNIX level to Oracle to GUI, and build numerous interfaces to the billing system and the CRM (Vantive) system Orange uses.
