Collaboration with the Max-Planck-Institute for Extraterrestrial Physics (Garching bei Muenchen, Germany) in order to conclude the work related to the PhD thesis and publication of scientific papers (MNRAS 427, 1877).

Radial velocity curve with HRS@HET high-resolution spectra. Project topic: Detection and/or confirmation of extrasolar planets via radial velocity curves. The pipeline for the reduction and the analysis of observed high-resolution stellar spectra was created, debugged, customized and optimized in order to achieve the best precision on the radial velocity measurements. Two new extrasolar planets could be identified analysing the scientific data using such pipeline.

Collaboration with the department of bio-engeneering of the “Universita' Federico II” (Naples, Italy) for the preliminary study and prototype development of the “P-Device”, an instrument devoted to the long-term monitoring of the mechanical activity of the human heart.

Collaboration with the “Osservatorio Astronomico di Trieste” (Trieste, Italy) in order to conclude the work related to the master thesis and publication of a scientific paper (MNRAS 407, 1290).

Graduated on October 13th: 110/110 cum laude Thesis: Tomography of the IGM with spectra of QSO pairs at high red-shift. Supervisors: Dr. Prof. S. Cristiani; Dr. V. D’Odorico.
