In this graduation project, the goal was to design a smart sensing helmet for the Chinook crew. The assignment was in cooperation with TNO, The Netherlands Royal Air force and TU Delft. I designed a future vision for Chinook crew-members, and created a framework for future developments. The helmet has integrated sensors to monitor the wearer, offers optimal protection (from both inside and outside hazards) and has a large visor for information display purposes and battlefield awareness.

To gather more in depth knowledge outside of the study environment and to broaden my view, I applied for an internship at Scoozy. At scoozy I was both responsible for setting up and conducting user test, interview ergonomics experts and processing the information for the seating area of Scoozy as well as supporting in brainstorming and prototyping the steering knob. Furthermore I was the 3D print expert within the team and gave advice on decisions regarding additive manufacturing.
