Building a recommendation engine. The engine finds obvious problems such as search phrases which triggers multiple ads, and suggests a multitude of solutions to these problems. I am one of two developers in the team which builds the backend for this. General building of API communication, both polling and serving data via a multitude of APIs. Both internal and external. Main technologies used: python, numpy, pandas, scikit-learn.

Responsible for: Money transactions, Analytics/Business Intelligence, Back End, Data Warehousing. All in a cloud environment. Technologies used: Map Reduce, Redis, RDS (MySQL), Hadoop.

At Vizzit I am re-writing the old product from scratch to fit new business profile. My specialities in this project are: PHP, MySQL, Unix/Linux server management, testing environment and Scrum Master.

Full time position. When I started working here I took over the development of a PHP/MySQL based journal system. A few months later I also took over the development of another PHP/MySQL based diagram generating system. After having finished these two projects I did a rewrite in Python/Django of a Java based system for network accession called Public Wall. I was also part in developing a GUI for the open source security scanner called OpenVAS.
