Managed an international team of platform engineers developing IoT and edge computing capabilities for fleet optimisation and navigation solutions. Developed a scalable vision for the edge platform, validated the architecture on the largest and most advanced vessels, secured long-term investments, and drove key partnerships, including collaboration with Microsoft. The strategy was to modernise the platform solutions and lead the integrations of the digital products deployed onboard vessels.

Managed an international department delivering advanced navigation and control systems for the marine industry. Delivered solutions to a highly regulated environment for both commercial and navy contracts. Focused our efforts on quality and scalability by delivering a modernised UI, modularity and cybersecurity improvements. The strategy was to continue to offer the largest selection of cost- effective integrations without compromising on ease of use, availability and navigation safety.

Managed a team of engineer developing mission-critical navigation sensor systems. Launched innovative sensor modalities and led the company to several industry awards, contributing to its acquisition by Wärtsilä. The strategy was to perfect the core competence in robust positioning sensors and application requiring submeter accuracy.

Managed a team developing FMCW microwave sensors, achieving significant hardware cost savings. Led the launch of a new sensor architecture, validated through rigorous testing and customer trials.

Developed high-precision microwave positioning sensors, enhancing performance in dynamic-positioning marine applications. Participated in key customer FMEA and acceptance trials.Improved bearing tracking performance in the presence of multi-path noise, and introduced agile scrum practices and continuous deployment.

Developed software for 3G and 4G CDMA base stations, improving power efficiency and standardising components of digital signal processing modules. Automated benchmark transmit and receive tests and received recognition for contributions to the OneBTS program.
