DAAD scholarship holder from February to July 2017 for the realization of my graduation project named Silphium perfoliatum as a new biorefinery feedstock for simultaneous extraction and pretreatment in the laboratory of Enzyme Process Technology (EPT). The project consisted on producing bioethanol from S.perfoliatum and at the same time extracting the valuable products in order to use them in pharmaceutical and chemical industries

The 6 months research project was about developping a method that will allow us to produce the recombinant protein rSAG1 (from Toxoplasma gondii) in a soluble form in Eschericia coli. We succeeded in producing such a complex protein in E.coli after optimising different parameters.
