Master Thesis: Mutual Coupling & Beam Steering Analysis of Antenna Arrays

    Technische Universität Darmstadt, Germany

Mutual Coupling and Beam Steering Analysis of Patch and Dielectric Resonator Antenna Arrays: I designed & fabricated patch and DRA arrays at the operating frequency of Ku band for satellite communication. I analyzed the surface wave coupling between the DRA and Patch antennas to reduce the losses at high frequencies. Finally, I implemented and analyzed the beam steering for the phased array antennas at 30° and 50° beam angles to achieve high gain in desired direction.

Bachelor Thesis: Power Amplifier for Switch Mode Transmitter Architecture

National University of Sciences & Technology (NUST), Islamabad, Pakistan

In my bachelor’s thesis I implemented a highly efficient switch-mode transmitter architecture which included Delta-Sigma modulator, a class-D amplifier, a fourth order Butterworth band-pass filter and a dipole antenna. The digital power amplifier was designed in Cadence using 250nm Silicon-Germanium BiCMOS process.
