• Field testing and enhancement of SDR based system developed during master thesis. • Hardware / Firmware development and verification of signal blocking system in addition to the implemented detection system. • DSP related analysis of input output signal waveforms. • Xilinx Zynq-SoC based SDR platform for mobile signal detection. • Incorporation of strict real-time behavior and enhancement of system response by transferring all processing operations from software to hardware (PL fabric on Zynq FPGA). • Infusion of advanced signal feature extraction capability and diverse detection techniques for better signal analysis. Language / Tools : Verilog / VHDL (Xilinx Vivado) , C / C# (MS Visual Studio).

• Data acquisition using multi-channel high speed ADC's and Kintex 7 FPGA based embedded platform. • Design and verification of hardware /firmware for ADC to FPGA and FPGA to PC communication over Ethernet and PCIe. • Performing required processing on sampled signals within FPGA. Language / Tools : Verilog / VHDL (Xilinx ISE) , C / C# (MS Visual Studio, DevC).

• Design and Development of principal modules of the FTL firmware for SSD’s. • Devising and developing algorithms for efficient SSD management at high data throughput • Formulating and executing simulation and test suites for thorough verification. Language / Tools : Embedded C / C++ (Eclipse, Xilinx SDK), Linux, RTOS (uCOS-II).

• Design, implementation and verification of MIL-STD-1553 Bus Monitor on FPGA in VHDL. • Firmware development of Picoblaze / Microblaze based embedded systems for data acquisition. • Software programming for MIL-STD-1553 message parsing. Language / Tools : Verilog / VHDL (Xilinx ISE) , C/C++ (MS Visual Studio).
