Developed a low-power, standalone motion and environmental sensing and data acquisition system using micro-controllers and fusion of MEMS sensors. The signals/Data obtained from the sensor was analysed to know type of carrier (e.g. car, train, bicycle etc.) using Excel, Python and LabView software

Tasks included measurement and validation of new power supplies (SmartPlugs), shaver tests and evaluation of new ICs etc. A SmartPlug (power supply) dummy was also developed for testing, whose output voltage could be changed digitally from a created computer software.

Worked on the IoT platform of SMS Group on Thingsboard.io. Learned system integration and monitoring, analyzing and controlling of devices. Also took part in development of a micro-controller based Torpedo tracking system with improved GPS accuracy and integration of maps.

Concerned duties are providing tutorials, supervising students, explaining experiments, offering help/advice, monitoring student performance, and checking and grading lab reports.

I was part of the OPUS design and Development team. Worked on several different tasks (most important was on developing the 'accessibility' feature for OPUS created documents) related to C and C++ coding languages. Also created a user manual for this 'Accessibility' feature. Got a small bonus allowance in recognition for my good work.
