Test setup's hardware and software preparation. Automation, integration, data collection of Test setups. Phase noise investigation of PLL. Investigation of frequency locking of PLL. NF, IIP2, IIP3, spur emission measurements. Blocker desensitization, phase noise, reciprocal mixing measurements.

    Signal Analysis of UWB signals at mm-Wave 60 GHz to 90 GHz frequencies

    Pushing existing RF instruments to operate in E band frequency range. RF, LO and IF branches of test setup modified through external components. Without modification reference EVM -25 dB of 528 MHz UWB OFDM signal. With modification EVM of -40 dB achieved; with 15 dB EVM improvement. Selection, characterization and signal conditioning of mm-Wave blocks; biased mixer, harmonic mixer, filters, wave-guides, and power amplifier.

    Circuit was designed using micro strip lines based simulation on Agilent®ADS. GHz centre frequency with bandwidth of 1.2 GHz. Target PAE of 88 %. S parameter analysis, harmonic balance, load pull, EM-simulations performed. Design of input/output wave shaping and impedance matching networks.
