As the principal product architect and the lead software engineer behind the formulation and implementation of product and technological strategies, I have steered elite teams towards the creation of a data-intensive infrastructure of unparalleled capability. This infrastructure is anchored in key pillars: scalable data processing, advanced space technology, climate and environmental resilience, and a strong commitment to agricultural and environmental stewardship.

As Engineering Manager and the Head of Applied Research (New Product Design and Development) at Pula, I transformed how we think about machine learning, geospatial intelligence and advanced analytics. By architecting real-time satellite mapping platforms and pioneering machine learning-driven systems, I spearheaded initiatives culminating in operational savings exceeding $8 million. Beyond cost-efficiency, these innovations catalysed revenue growth, including over $1 million acquired through grants.

Risk modelling, data strategy and integration, strategic partnerships

I led and worked on groundbreaking machine learning models in risk finance, leveraging alternative data streams like mobile network operator data, sensor data, and satellite imagery. This wasn't a siloed endeavour; my work served as a linchpin, aligning Microsoft’s applied ML research roadmap with overarching organisational strategies.
