Responsibilities include new product development (mechanized and manual plasma cutting torches, power sources, controls and gas management, manual and mechanized systems) Leadership and management responsibilities, technology development, product roadmapping responsibilities, engineering product specification and definition Setting plasma engineering strategy and align technology development with product line strateg Financial planning activities and budgetary development for R&D activities

Management responsibilities of plasma cutting torch program, new product development - mechanized & manual plasma cutting. Initiation of collaborative research program with external institutions focusing on long term technologies in support of product roadmaps Review of technologies and product initiatives in oxy-fuel cutting, gas regulation, welding, arc accessories & laser technologies Competitive technology assessment, company and resource assessment for acquisition purposes for EVP of engineering

Lecture in mechanical engineering entry and advanced level courses. Participate in department activitiesand carry out research in the area of plasma heat transfer and fluid flow.
