I am driving Digitization, IT, ERP & Technology initiatives within the organization that is spread over 7 manufacturing units in and around the city of Lahore. I am leading initiatives to bridge the business needs with Information Technology. One of the major initiative is to enhance and expand the ERP within the organization with high level of information security to safe guard the costing and business strategy that is the differentiating factor for the organization to compete with global players.

I joined DWP Technologies and developed a new division "Integrated Professional Solutions" (IPS) to offer a range of services around Oracle Applications, SAP and EMC’s Documentum. I am managing and directing a group of professional within IPS who are focused on providing implementation, support and upgrade services.

Currently directing IT, Corporate IT Regulations & Policies, Communication and SAP Implementation for one of the prominent Engineering & Industrial Groups in Pakistan with over 40,000 employees, having offices in 6 countries engaged in Chemicals & Engineering Manufacturing, Engineering Design & Solutions, Construction & Commissioning services. Reporting to the CEO and Chairman I am managing all ICT operations including SAP Global Implementation with 130 full time professionals plus outsourced consultants.

Served with one of the oldest and largest Industrial Groups in Pakistan whose line of business includes Textile, Power Generation and Cement Manufacturing with production facilities spread all over Pakistan. Reporting to the Chairman I was managing all IT departments of the Group with 4 teams of 35 full time professionals plus outsourced service providers and an IT infrastructure worth US$ 3,000,000 approx. Implemented ERP based on Oracle eBusiness Suite in all business units.

The company was primarily involved in Software Development, IT Enabled Projects and IT education. Appointed in the capacity of General Manager for Development & Operations and also served as interim CEO managing a staff of 200 full time professionals in three cities.

Played an integral role in launching the company’s ISP service in addition to planning and administering information technology projects. Reporting to the Group President and managing a staff of 50 professionals at 2 locations. Launched an IT Company in Pakistan & Singapore with major project of launching ISP under the brand name BESNET in Pakistan.

Worked as an Independent consultant & contractor providing services to various individuals & organizations for the Office Automation, System Analysis & Design, Equipment Procurement, Networking and communications. Successfully trained approx. 2,000 personnel.

Managed daily proceedings to maintain a sophisticated network infrastructure with 100 end users, email services, System Design & Development. I was also Nominated by the Government Of Pakistan as member of the committee for the evaluation/selection of companies that participated in bidding against international tenders for Build, Own & Maintain (BOM) basis of Power Transmission Project.

Appointed as System Analyst to support the PRIVATE POWER PROJECT of USAID, based in Islamabad where the project activities spread over 5 cities. Deputized general office administration in the absence of Office Manager. I set up facilities for electronic data processing activities and communication via electronic mail between Washington-Islamabad-Lahore-Karachi offices that was the very first eMail operation in Pakistan.

Principal coordinator and developer of General Accounting, Distributor Management and MIS Systems in multi user environment for Fon Gas Project of Fauji Foundation. Conducted a feasibility study for selection and purchase of mini computer (IBM AS400) for Fauji Foundation Stipend System. Migrated data between different software and computer systems, completed technical support duties and coordinated many projects.

Maintained and Managed all network and operating systems for an ICL DRS 20 multi user system and managing a staff of 45 individuals including programmers, shift supervisors and 35 data entry operators. Developed Software Systems for Loss Tracking, Overstocking verification, Reordering and Tracking. Designed and did evaluation / selection of a new mini computer system and point of sale technology to be introduced in all 95 CSD outlets, overseeing the whole bidding and selection process.
