3D Printable Material from Bio-Based Building Blocks for DLP Printing Process to Produce the Implants for Medical Applications

Designed a condensed introduction lecture on overview of polymer chemistry for International MSc. programme in University of Hamburg. Topics like polymer structure property relations, introduction to polymers, additives used in polymers, polymer manufacturing processes, polymer testing and importance of characterization and types of polymer degradation are covered. Additionally prepared two video lectures covering the topics: Introduction to Polymer Materials Science and Polymer Testing Characterization

For my master thesis project I worked on the development of bio based flame retardants as an alternate to toxic halogenated flame retardants. I established a lab scale synthesis process, elemental analysis followed ny large scale modelling of the project, successful process optimization, extrusion of developed derivatives with base polymer to produce test specimens. They are characterized for their mechanical, thermal and flame behavior properties.
