Part time barman and front of house in a smart pub/restaurant voted ‘Pub of the South East 2007’. During this time the business grew by 26% and launched two new pubs. I helped this large growth in turnover by working hard to improve customer satisfaction and customer retention. In particular I dealt with difficult clients. I also had responsibility for training new staff and devised small ways to improve the efficiency of the employees

Detroit Racquet Club ‘Fellow’ - an amateur program consisting of coaching rackets and squash and assisting the running of an exclusive members’ club in Detroit MI. I had responsibility for inducting new members, coaching the entire membership and organising matches within the club. My main achievement was completing the club tournaments which was the first time it had happened for 9 years. I developed strong social skills, patience and a financial understanding of running a small club or business.
