• Capturing and analyzing the functional requirements of the engineering system. • Developing a firmware for 32-bit ARM Cortex-M microcontroller (STM32). • Data acquisition from set of sensors using protocols such as I2C, SPI, UART and USB. • Sensor fusion and data filtering. • Designing and implementing navigation and attitude control algorithms for UAV. • Work closely with hardware design engineers in coordinating the design of an embedded system.

• Planning the curriculum of the Embedded Systems module. • Preparing and delivering lecture materials to the students. • Maintain the attendance and progress of the students. • Evaluating student exam/assignment papers.

• Installation of Windows XP, 7 and 8.1 with auxiliary applications. • Configuration of new external hardware and software at client sites. • Travelling to client sites with engineers to help with installations and troubleshooting. • Technical consultation for clients over phone or in person. • Preparing monthly reports of the most frequent issues to the supervisor.

• Derivation and analysis of functional systems requirements. • Design, test and deployment of control systems. • Functional Block Diagram programming of PLCs.

The master’s program in Biomedical Computing combines computer science with aspects of biology and medicine. It is an interdisciplinary program involving both the TUM Department of Informatics and the TUM School of Medicine.
