I worked as a PhD research scholar at the Institute of applied microbiology, RWTH Aachen university. My research work involved identifying host-specific virulence factors of the smut fungus Sporisorium reilianum that infects maize and sorghum.

I started as a Junior research scholar at National institute of plant genome research, New Delhi. The experience that I have gained at NIPGR includes various microbiological and molecular techniques .
