(2) Interpretation of Mxr2 role under different stress stimuli and metal toxicity forming oligomerization. Responsibility: Clonning, Expression of mitochondrial proteins in bacteria and Yeast. Purification of protein by various chromatographic technique and Tag dependent processing Protocol documentation and Presentation of results.

Master Thesis: Interaction studies of Tim44 with Hsp70 in yeast mitochondria. Mini Projects while lab rotation: Antioxidant and phytochemical analysis using plant extract: an in vitro study. Screening of marine Actinomycetes for its enzymatic potential.

Study emphases: Computer study, Geographical data Master Thesis: Geographic data in transit- An Event reflecting project. Industrial project “Feeder manager configuration – high tension level for Palam division.” (In Company: Reliance power BSES, Delhi)

Mini project undertaken while Lab rotation: a.) Immobilization of enzymes / cells by entrapment in alginate gel. b.) Effect of temperature / pH on enzyme activity. c.) Antibiotic sensitivity assay. d.) Microbiological quality assurance of any of the commercially available foods.
