Nina Schmidt

PhD in the field of Microbiome and Applied Bioinformatics. My dissertation is about the characterization of the upper gastrointestinal microbiota using sequencing, molecular biology and bioinformatics methods. Besides that, I was involved in project coordination and laboratory management, supervision of students during their thesis, as well as teaching in the master's program. I presented my research regularly in meetings with colleagues and visited various scientific conferences during my PhD.
