I managed and supervised the branch’s credit team (up to 7 credit analysts and loan administrators) which supported the origination team in analysing and closing commercial property related transactions (office, retail incl. factory outlet centres, light industrial and hotels) and managed the loan portfolio on an ongoing basis (including non-performing loans).

Two year secondment to Japan to establish a new business unit in Tokyo which included a comprehensive research on the Japanese real estate market, development of a business strategy to enter the market, establishment of a subsidiary of the bank and to secure a Money Lending Licence and Qualified Institutional Investor status with the Japanese authorities. Upon the successful opening of WIB Japan the company was a fully functioning business unit of 5 staff members and a significant loanbook.
