Communication interface between Affiliates and Global Clinical Development Quality Assurance - External Costumer focus; Point of contact for Quality issues from Clinical Operations, Drug Safety and Pharmacovigilance, Regulatory and Medical Affairs; Process improvement within R&D QA; Harmonization of best practices and projects across World Regions and Merck Functions; Support the implementation of process improvements, providing feedback on their effectiveness, challenges and best practices.

Technical, executive and scientific support and advise to National Board and to working groups and councils of OF; Support in pharmaceutical legislation analysis; Controlling role with added functions in team management, project management, operational logistics and finances report; Responsible for human resources management, external relationships with foreign partner Regulatory Body’s.

Direct collaboration with the President of the Council and the President of the Executive Committee, regarding the development of the activities of the National Council of Professional Bodies, such as conference organization, advice and also liaison with members of the Government on definition of national policies that directly affect the practice of all liberal professions (the focus CNOP Council). Elected member for the 2011-2017 period, interrupted due to professional move to other country.

Responsible for the local monitoring of 200 community pharmacies, assuring the best professional practices promotion and providing accurate pharmaceutical information and global solutions to each business unit; Internal quality auditor for Good Standards: GMPs, GPPs and ISO 9001. Local Project coordinator; Member of project implementation team regarding structural projects to Portuguese Community Pharmacies; Participation in the organization of three National Pharmacy Congresses.

Support in the development of all integrated healthcare in Ygeia Pharmacy, in Soure, near Coimbra, Portugal. Gained experience in all the core competencies of a community pharmacist, replacing the Technical Director in his absences, providing healthcare advice and promotion to the local population. Was also responsible for the implementation of the Quality Management System in the Pharmacy.
