Robotics, Cognition, Intelligence is an interdisciplinary Master's program, combining informatics with various engineering disciplines. While keeping my focus on systems and controls, and on the design of mobile/aerial robotics, I will also be able to learn about perception, image processing and AI. I will be able to apply my knowledge to a variety of industries, including Aerospace, Automotive, and more.

During this minor I gained insights into high-performance computing and simulations. I was able to expand my knowledge about numerical methods, parallelization and trends and methods in scientific computing.

In this degree programme, I studied disciplines such as aerodynamics, materials and structures, propulsion, orbital and flight mechanics and control systems. I applied these disciplines to apply to aircraft, spacecraft, wind turbines and drones. I worked on many projects, for example, the augmentation of a Kalman Filter with a genetic algorithm for the improvement of a drone's state estimation process. My final project was the design of an integrated payload-lifting autonomous drone swarm.
