I am working on an independent project which involves the development of a labelling and annotation application. The application is using image processing and machine learning techniques for aiding the user in the process of manual labelling. 
 The developed software will have an open source version, available by the end of 2017.

I was part of a team that developed and validated a Traffic Signs Recognition system based on image processing and machine learning. Another project I was involved in was Lane Change Assist where I was responsible for the rear looking lane recognition (cameras mounted in the mirrors). Required Skills: Computer Vision knowledge (filtering, edge detectors, feature extraction (HoG, Haar), tracking algorithms (Kalman filter), 3D reconstruction etc.); Machine Learning knowledge (SVM, AdaBoost, Random Forest)

I was part of a team that adapted and tested the software for a radar sensor (Continental radar ARS 300), based on customer specifications. My main responsibilities were to developed and maintain the diagnosis module. Beside development, I was the Software Integrator for the project and I was taking care of quality related tasks for the project. I conducted integration tests, organised code review meetings, wrote requirements, checked the documentation provided by the testing team etc.

I was part of a team that developed and maintained a billing application and a stock management application. My responsibilities were related to the implementation of new features in the application; further improvement and maintenance of the GUI, and the implementation of the communication with a cash register. Testing the application and the development of automated tests were part of my daily tasks. I offered technical support for customers related to database, cash register, Linux problems etc.
