Head of Purchasing & Supplier Management (incl. Departments of Strategic Purchasing, Dispatch, Supplier Development, Logistics and Product Management)

- leading & developing the Supplier Development Commodity Structures & Attachments in EU - managing a team of seven engineers within six sites in Europe (Sweden, France, Poland & Germany) - Remote Management - establishing of specific goals to each Supplier Development Engineer based on strategic commodity plans and supply base segmentation - Institutionalization of Volvo supplier development processes & tools (VPS/ Lean Manufacturing, SEM, APQP/PPAP) - improving Q, D & manufacturing capabilities

Lead & monitor: - Supplier Development Planning in commodity Structures & Attachments (incl. Q- Management, Delivery performance & Product application development) so to reach a world class supplier base - Lean Manufacturing (Volvo Production System) - the first supplier assessment (incl. Supplier Evaluation Model & Capacity Management Audit) with authority to approve/disapprove a supplier selection in the Commodity - all SD NPD/ECR activities from design up to & incl. Start of Production (APQP)

Purchasing & Supply Management – Europe; Coordinating and monitoring all ongoing Supplier Development activities within the Commodity Structures in the Region Europe; Lead Auditor (Supplier Evaluation Model; Process; Capacity, APQP/PPAP, VPS (Volvo Production System)

Supplier performance improvement planning, execution, follow up and reporting (Quality, Delivery, Cost); APQP; PQAP (Parts Quality Assurance Plan / similar PPAP) in teamwork with Supplier Quality Engineers, Audits (Supplier Evaluation Model/ Process/Capacity),

Support and improve Parts Quality (PPM), Corrective actions follow up, technical review meetings with supplier, Parts approval process, PQAP (Parts Quality Assurance Plan / similar PPAP) in teamwork with Supplier Development Engineers, Audits (Process/Part/Product); Problem Solving (8D-Report) Process;
