Building of multi-threaded SIMD proto-applications of HEP codes for performance analysis and evaluation of possible improvements in the HEP data-analysis frameworks. Evaluate new Intel hardware in the context of CERN and its experiments and manage various technical aspects of the collaboration.

Research and development of exascale ready applications through new data structures, algorithms, and implementations that scale to millions of processor cores.

Development of an intrusion detection system for telecommunication systems. The work involved both high-throughput realtime processing as well as intelligent algorithms for detecting rare events.
