Development of a Framework for Sustainable Decommissioning by Utilising the expertise gained in Ship Recycling funded by the Scottish government. Examining how ports can act as decarbonisation hubs for multiple modes of transport by examining the application of technologies (e.g., smart ports) and how these enhance the ‘refuelling’ of modes while they are loaded/unloaded within the port, fully funded by UK Government (EPSRC).

Support the safety & environment team by developing and providing technical policy advice to advance their decarbonisation agenda, including consideration of safety and technical aspects of the net-zero emission fuels and technologies. Attend IMO`s ISWG-GHG 12 and ISWG-GHG 11 sessions as half of the UK delegation.

ATAS is a registered Scottish charity that gathers all students and graduates in Scotland. The role included managerial duties such as leading teams, providing support to other divisions of ATAS when necessary, managing correspondences and updates, and administrative tasks, chairing board/team meetings, fund risings and networking.

I have a PhD in Naval Architecture, Ocean & Marine Engineering (NAOME) from the University of Strathclyde Glasgow, UK. My PhD thesis title was Integrated Energy Efficiency of Shipping. My research addressed the following question: How can we produce an integrated analysis of the energy efficiency of the port and ship? As a result, I completed my thesis, which created a solution to analyse the ship's energy efficiency and port integration gap in the literature. Also, I have BEng & MSc degrees.
