Software development and/or bug fixing for automotive Electrical Control Unit (ECU) modules, including: - Ethernet based communication stack, - drivers for Ethernet components and devices, such as MII, automotive PHY and switches, - diagnostic modules.

- Firmware and unit test development and bug fixing for multithreaded (VxWorks), EtherNet/IP and Common Industrial Protocol (CIP) based and secured communication subsystems of programmable controllers and related network devices. - Integration and debugging of wolfSSL library for implementation of TLS and DTLS protocols. - Occasional training (mostly on C++) and recruitment activities.

- Legacy software (mostly middleware) maintenance and development for TVs and set-top box (STB) type digital video broadcasting (DVB) receivers that are based on Broadcom or MStar SoCs and GNU/Linux or Android operating systems. - Occasional team leadership and mentorship for new joiners. The role highly involves troubleshooting, software integrating and porting software to various target platforms.

- Application and GUI development with Qt framework for Linux based embedded systems. - Integration, bug-fixing and development of Linux device drivers. - Bare-metal firmware development for Stellaris (ARM Cortex M3) microcontrollers.

- Test and evaluation of RFIC packaged parts to verify product integrity. - Technical documentation of new products and organization of data input into product data sheets. - Providing production department with necessary test fixturing and test software parameters. - Development, upgrade and maintenance of test automation software with LabWindows/CVI development environment, which includes an ANSI C compiler and a high-level GUI library.

Touch operated optical keypad design based on 8-bit AVR microcontrollers. Development of the keypad's firmware in C.
