Paramasivam Muralitharan

I am responsible for the overall management and supervision of Batticaloa-based field staff, as well as the program oversight for all of UMCOR's programs implemented in Batticaloa District. I will build UMCOR's programmatic profile, in collaboration with local government authorities and UMCOR's local partners. The major duties including but not limited to Staff Management, Staff Capacity Building, Project Design, Proposal Writing, Reporting, Coordination, Information Management, Budget Management.

Developing and implementing program and grant activities in social rehabilitation, conflict mitigation, livelihoods, infrastructure development, and economic growth in the East and North of Sri Lanka.

Select Fishery Cooperative Societies, writing proposals, Identifying Implementing Partners, preparing Budget, monitoring the projects, organizing coordination meetings, liaison with relevant government and non government departments and evaluate the impact of each project. This FRP project was to improve the income and living standard of members of selected (FCS) in Ampara through the establishment of a Revolving Loan Fund system.

Monitor the activities into four areas: Economic Rehabilitation, Social Rehabilitation, Infrastructure Development and Protection Issues. Here I worked closely with Self Help Groups, CBOs, and other government and non government organizations.

Chemistry, Botany and Zoology are the main subjects and Sri Lankan Studies, Mathematics and Computer Literacy are the core Subjects.
