Panalpina’s largest organization with a turnover of 1,5 billion Euro and total 2,000 employees • Turnaround from an operational loss in 2009 to a positive record result in 2010 • Established a value based management system leading to improved profi-tability, productivity and cash flow • Reorganized the Finance Department to a functional structure following a merger of 6 legal entities • Established a transfer price documentation and managed an external tax audit

Europe accounts for 40 % of the group in terms of turnover and employees • Responsible for all finance matters within the region • Prime focus on quality and efficiency with various initiatives such as o automated account payable processing o dispute handling of accounts receivables o review banking relation o evaluation of finance shared service centre

• Led a team of 4 people, responsible for the group-wide Management Information System (MIS) • Responsible for concept development, rollout and maintenance of management reporting system for local organizations (SAP R/3) and on group level (SAP BW). • Established the documentation, training and support concepts • Managed the rollout of SAP CO projects in Thailand, Gabon, Congo, Nigeria and Turkey • Managed various financial projects

• Responsible for the financial controlling of various group affiliates in Europe including the support during monthly closing as well as planning periods
