C++ software development under macOS for audio interfaces connecting musical instruments to computers. Duties include support for firmware updates on various audio interfaces and GUI development to monitor and control audio interfaces.

Develop and maintain a website running on the Shopify e-commerce platform that is used to sell Japanese denim.

Software development in C++ and Python for industrial laser and ink jet printers running on embedded Linux. Used by the beverage, pharmaceutical, and tobacco industries for printing on their assembly lines. Development stack was from REST API to FPGA and Linux kernel interfaces. Behavior-driven-development using Behave framework, unit tests using Google testing framework, and manual testing on test rigs and operational systems. Scrum Master for a development team.

Developed a trading platform (C++) to trade at stock exchanges around the world. Multi-threaded and performance-critical code was used to trade at the microsecond level. Experienced with unit tests (Google testing framework) and functional tests. Developed in a professional environment that included code reviews, versioning, continuous test- ing, and a Git repository.

Research Associate (postdoc) for Michigan State University based at CERN in Geneva, Switzerland. Work involved presenting at international conferences, publishing papers and writing reports, maintaining and developing the MSU analysis package, coding in Python, Top Quark physics analysis involving multivariate statistics and machine learning methods, and mentoring graduate and undergraduate students.

Research conducted on the ZEUS experiment at DESY in Hamburg, Germany.
