Further evolution of the role within the Senior Management Team of ANSL, leading programmes, internal and external projects as well as the development of operational and commercial concepts. Driving the transformation of the business from a newly established ANSP to a game changing commercial business.

Leading our concept & development work, creating innovative solutions and transforming Air Traffic Control into the Air Transport Management of the future. As part of the Senior Management team of an expanding Air Navigation Services Provider (ANSP), establishing & developing our project & programmes work. This includes delivery, financial and contractual management, commercial aspects and negotiations in relation to projects. Core objective was the establishment of a Project Management Office (PMO).

As Tower Support Manager responsible for all operational aspects and deputising General Manager for the organisational Tower cluster East (Tower Leipzig/Dresden/Saarbrücken/Erfurt) of DFS, leading operational and non-operational teams across four units. With exposure to high level and strategic management of the business unit and Organisation, involved in numerous inter-departmental projects, development, and technology strategy activities.

Appointed operational project manager, leading operational and user aspects of the transformational Remote Tower Control implementation project. Bringing together a multi-unit and inter-departmental team (ca. 15-20 team members), developing a state of the art innovative Remote Towers solution and turning initial operational opposition into constructive support and participation.

Operational manager responsible for the Tower Operations of Leipzig/Halle (EDDP/LEJ) and Erfurt (EDDE/ERF) Airports. Leading operational teams at both units, ensuring all staffing and proficiency requirements were fulfilled and interfacing with internal and external partners and customers to deliver safe, orderly and expeditious management of air traffic. Continued involvement also in numerous projects as operational expert and in project steering.
