My work consists on introducing new features as well as doing maintenance to the already running company product Global Price Management (GPM), which is used by twelve of the twenty largest freight forwarders in the world to map their core processes. The product is continuously developed with new features and also for individual customer requirements.

The project is a cloud-based distributed system for retail stores built under the microservices architecture in an agile development team. I was the domain owner, designer and main developer of a series of back-end applications of the project, these are built in Java with the Spring Boot and Spring Cloud frameworks. The project is now hosted in Kubernetes cloud environment with under 500,000 processed transactions in the first 3 months.

Intevation GmbH is an independent IT service provider, which consistently relies on free software. Core areas include IT security, groupware, software development, system administration and geographic information systems. I worked as a Software Developer to build a new version of the AGrav website (Absolute Gravity Database) for the Federal Office of Cartography and Geodesy of Germany

WFP is the world's largest humanitarian aid program that helps victims of wars, conflicts and natural disasters to rebuild their lives and to lead a life of their own. I worked as an IT Assistant for the IT Department and oversaw IT and telecoms (TC) operations in the country office and four additional sub offices spread around the country.
