Founder and manager - designed, developed and sourced the range of recycling bins that are now patented and available to the public via our website.

Key role in taking the company from outsourcing all products to being a manufacturer of their own surface finishes. I worked on everything from the formulation and testing of the products through to designing and implementing the construction of their manufacturing facility. Worked closely with the owner to start producing cast products with a contract with Sketchers for their UK retail chain.

Designed, sourced and sold variety of household products including a patented shelving system for CDs and cassettes. Customers included the store chains of John Lewis and The Futon Company.

Self employed builder - installing kitchens and bathrooms but also specialising in resolving technically problematic jobs - very diverse work ranging from modifying wiring looms in the recording studio of film music composer Trevor Jones while he was working on Arachnophobia with Steven Spielberg, to major structural repairs in multiple occupancy housing. The building work also financed my second degree in product design.

Ranged from maintaining the buildings & shop-fitting initially to managing one of the shops latterly. My building experience initially came from my architect father and the numerous houses our family renovated.
