As the Process Engineer I performed work such as: equipment, tank, and vessel sizing, hydraulics, line sizing, PFD and P&IDs creation and upkeep, in-field trouble shooting for existing and new equipment. These items involved conventional engineering practices but also included a variety of complex features.

As the Process Lead I performed work such as: equipment, tank, and vessel sizing, hydraulics, line sizing, PFD and P&IDs creation and upkeep, in-field trouble shooting for existing and new equipment. These items involved conventional engineering practices but also included a variety of complex features. I was additionally tasked with man hour estimates for budget proposals, scheduling and resource planning, and participated in teleconference meetings, design coordination meetings, and interim model reviews.

Developing and maintaining process documents including flow sheets, flow diagrams, process description notes, safety analysis documents, equipment data sheets, and procurement specifications. Developed Piping and Instrument Diagrams as well as Process Flow Sheets for the aqueous polishing system. Designed an organic/aqueous liquid/liquid separator for the polishing process. Performed Nuclear criticality calculations.

Responsible for procedure writing and review. I was a design authority for nuclear waste tank farm operators. I also performed evaporator system modelling and siphon evaluations for tank transfers.

Research experience conducted at University of South Carolina and Sophia University in Tokyo Japan: using dendrimers for super capacitor manufacturing, clay platelet addition to polymers to increase O2 barrier properties, fuel cell modeling, and zeolite use in ultra-deep desulfurisation
