Was working in the field of auto exhaust catalysis and designing of catalysts for meeting the emission norms, viz. Euro-IV. The research work aimed at developing new washcoat materials and to study the metal support interactions and the role of precious group metals with the support such that it can be used to enhance the performance of the catalysts for various 2-wheeler and 4-wheeler applications.

The main aim of the study was to develop heterogeneous catalysis using green technology involving the modified precursors of polyoxometalates (POMs), especially in oxidation catalysis by use of environmentally benign oxidants as well as clean catalytic reactions.
