My thesis work mainly focused on understanding the underlying mechanisms of palmitate-mediated endothelial dysfunction, an early determinant that precedes atherosclerotic cardiovascular disease. During this period, I assumed various roles: • Imaging Specialist and data analyst • Scientific data curator and writer • Strong communicator • Project manager • Molecular Biologist • Bioinformatician

Field: cardiovascular diseases, MODY, eye and rare diseases Being a part of the solutions team, I had the opportunity to be involved in different projects. Here, I focused on clinical interpretation and reporting, data curation, pharmacogenetic target report creation and peer-review. I was also involved in presenting key molecular signaling pathways to interdisciplinary team members to build a strong foundation for oncology-related studies.

I was lucky to be a part different teams where I worked on 3 different disease areas (diabetes, tuberculosis and psoriasis). My research activities included data curation, in-silico model development, optimization and data analysis. I was also associated with the coordination of the training program for new employees. This job role required a lot of team work, knowledge sharing and participation in certification programs.
