Priscila Viola Foureaux

As a Research Fellow in the Master of European and International Business, Competition and Regulatory Law (MBL), I support the academic activities developed in the program, within EU Law, European Competition Law, and EU Regulatory Law. I prepare and give tutorials, elaborate and assess term papers and exams, mentor students regarding the development of their master thesis research, supervise, assess and grade Master Theses.

Part of the team dealing with competition and regulatory law. I handled antitrust proceedings on cartels and unilateral conducts investigations, and merger reviews before the Brazilian competition authority. I also helped clients with the assessment of commercial strategies and practices regarding competition law risks, the development and review of compliance programs, risk analysis on data protection issues and international trade and sanctions.

As a lawyer of the competition law team, I handled antitrust proceedings on cartels and unilateral conducts investigations, and merger reviews before the Brazilian competition authority. I also helped clients with internal investigations, risk analysis of commercial strategies and practices, and review and development of compliance programs.

Part of the legal team dealing with antitrust proceedings and merger review before the Brazilian competition national authority. I also drafted and analyzed contracts, and provided legal advice in regulatory and civil law matters. I worked in civil and economic litigation as well.

I worked on the General Superintendence of the Brazilian competition authority (CADE), focused on cartel investigations, both national and international. I handled administrative proceedings, negotiated settlement agreements, participated in dawn raids and defendants' hearings.

Intern in the team dealing with matters related to internationalization of companies, trade defense (such as antidumping investigations) and competition law. Legal research, case analysis and draft of legal assessments and documents.

Voluntary teaching assistant in the chair of Public International Law, for Prof. Dr. Aziz Tuffi Saliba. I prepared and gave tutorials, supported academic activities, and managed examination assessments.

Case analysis and draft of official letters and rulings. Focus on tax and social security law.
