Robert Schamberger

I manage 20-25 projects simultaneously in business development and product management for a multinational company in the plastic food packaging sector. I am in a regional role responsible for Central-Eastern Europe. Besides this, I'm accountable for sample management, where I continuously improve our processes, generate savings and develop my peers.

My main role was to lead product development-related projects for the Hungarian and Austrian markets. Besides this, I was responsible for 62 subordinates as deputy production manager, and deputy production planner. I was accountable also for innovation management, where my greatest success was winning the yearly innovation idea contest among the full CEE region in more consecutive years.

I started as a technician at the company, then thanks to my professional approach, skills, and achievements during my studies I got promoted to maintenance, then later on to shift leader of the injection area. I was responsible to coordinate the work of 7 subordinates, and motivating and developing them to increase our shift's efficiency.

It was a double-degree program, which was launched by the Corvinus University of Budapest among SEED Executive School in cooperation with the Maastricht School of Management. The program was 2 years long, where I made intensive training in the specialization of Digital Economy in Maastricht. During my school years, I worked with Morgan Stanley on a project and made my Thesis about creating a new Business in Tourism.

I educated myself in Materials Engineering polymer specialization for two years. I made an extra specialization in Quality Management during these years and made my thesis about the impact of special additives on the recyclability of PET.
