Responsibilities System Design: Write design docs and optimise the backend design for isolation, fault tolerance, monitoring and scalability Deployment Process Optimization: Containerize service and automate deployment process Project team lead and Code review: Designing features and reviewing code of peers as team lead.

System Design: Cross Functional collaborations converting product requirements into features for the backend, scope child tasks and provide delivery time estimates. Testing and maintenance: Unit and Integration testing, service monitoring and design risk mitigation strategies. Codebase ownership: Ownership of the services including feature development, bug fixes, code review, documentation, release and on-call rotations. Containerize and CI/CD: Containerize the services and set up continuous deployment.

Research, Analysis and Reporting: Gathering, processing and analysing data to draw insights. Build visualisation dashboards and convey findings to product owners and stakeholders. Project lead: Maintaining project codebase, documentation, collaborating with stakeholders and reporting progress to team lead. System Design: Reporting findings from research and suggesting system improvements

The aim of the Master's program in Research in Computer & Systems Engineering is to train students who are qualified for academic and industrial research in Computer Science. This requires in-depth knowledge of computer science, automation technology and other engineering disciplines as an area of application. Therefore, students are trained both in the acquisition of methodological competencies and in the ability to conduct independent research work.
