Improving user connectivity with the use of Azure for one of the automotive companies in Munich. On the backend team I focused on event catching and processing, delivering functionality to users like possibility to check car status (location, gas level, etc) or getting notifications of relevant events on the car (low fuel, car’s alarm triggered, etc).

I helped to delivering Azure based solutions, gathering information from various sources such as LOB Systems, IoT Services or any other relevant data sources as needed by the clients. From creating data pipelines which continuously transfer data into Azure for further processing to IoT application with near real time data visualizations. Also I engaged in extra activities business related, like conferences at unIversities encouraging students to learn about Azure and convince them to join the company.

-I had 3 jr. engineers under my supervision. -I was the PO/Admin for the implementation of an IBM Tool, I took this project just after its initial POC, for the time I left it was being used in many production areas and across all sites in Mexico. -As DBA I was in charge of a variety of tasks such as automation (either for maintenance or data manipulation) and performance, as well as SSIS and SSRS development.
