Responsible for designing and developing electronics for catheter-based cardiac ultrasound imaging systems, specializing in power electronics, prototyping, in-house assembly for rapid iterations, and production design. Key contributions include system design, implementing reworks to meet stringent CF (cardiac float) patient leakage limits, and ensuring compliance with EMI/EMC, ESD, and 60601 medical standards for safety and performance.
I was responsible for handling the "Cockpit" subsystem of the Heart-Lung Machine, a crucial component of cardiopulmonary equipment. This involved analyzing requirements, selecting components, creating schematic entries, and creating PCB layout, followed by board bring-up and testing. My role required close collaboration with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration of the subsystem into the overall HLM.
For my thesis work, I designed a sensor network for measuring the current consumption of industrial loads. The sensor network utilized a differential hall-element-based sensor developed using FEM simulation for magnetic flux and thermal distribution. The sensor nodes had battery management, WiFi, BLE, and Sub-1GHz radio connectivity. The processed data was streamed and visualized in real-time on Grafana, a web-based dashboard.
Designed a high precision temperature and heat flow measurement system to characterize Li-Ion battery properties, during the adiabatic (constant heat) and isothermal (constant temperature)modes of operation. A PIC32 uController was used to run the PID algorithm which in-turn controlled a Peltier element to remove or add heat from/to the system.

Worked on the design, development, and bring-up of "Golden-I Lite," a head-mounted wearable computer connecting to mobile phones via USB Type-C as an extended display. Responsibilities included component selection, power distribution/sequencing using DC-DC and LDOs, CPLD programming, and designing a USB Type-C interface to stream 1080p video over eDP. Supported assembly activities such as kitting, BOM verification, and addressing fab EQs.

Worked on design of low-cost Attitude and heading reference system for human Gait analysis. It consists of three axis mems accelerometer, magnetometer and a gyroscope interfaced to ARM cortex-M4 based controller. Quaternion based complimentary filter was used to estimate the attitude.
