Severity evaluation of UAV collision with the engine fan blades. Structural stress analysis of the damaged fan blades and evaluated the results. Engine assembly incl. fan blades, blade-disk, compressor, containment ring using SolidWorks design and assembly features using SolidWorks CAD tool. Engine fan blade flow simulation was performed using SolidWorks and ABAQUS Simulation.

Design, development, and testing of the NanoSatellite structure for the structural integrity, and mechanical, thermal, vibration and failure analysis using SolidWorks CAD and ABAQUS CAE tools. Mechanical interaction effects on 3D printed structural elements and PCB assemblies, and fine-tuned design based on requirements using SolidWorks modeling/assembly features. Cable harnessing performed to verify the assembly and to avoid risks. Liaising with external vendors for material procurement.

Generated data models, performed computational analysis and helped produce reports outlining results. Coordinate with students and team meet regulatory requirements for checking the verification and document filings. Provided tutorials on design and simulation using CAD/CAE software and taught the engineering drawings and calculations for students. Guided students on how to produce detailed construction drawings and to implement using design software.
