I worked as a scientist in National Physical Laboratory. My field was optics. I worked simultaniously as the General Secretary of the Association of Scientific Workers of India affiliated to the World Federation of Scientific Workers which has consultative and informative status with UNESCO. TNORD is trying to implemet that is described as the 1946 WFSW Spirit borrowed by Jawaharlal Nehru and organised the Association of Scientific Workers of India to implement that spirit.
