Six months exchange with Mc Master University (ON,Canada) as part of my education at Master level. Worked on modeling turbulent impinging water jets cooling down a surface. Studied the heat transfer coefficients and Nusselt numbers using CFD tools ANSYS Fluent to run simulations and ICEM CFD to mesh the different geometries. Also ran an experimentation involving impinging jets cooling down a surface and analysed the experimental results in temperature and flux.
