Investigated mixed-element metal clusters with a focus on their synthesis, structural and spectroscopic characterization, and theoretical modeling. Responsibilities include: conception, planning, and execution of research projects; publication of results in reputable peer-reviewed journals; contributing to the field via publication of comprehensive review articles; procuring funds from German and European funding agencies; representation of working group at international conferences.

Courses: Introduction to General Chemistry (Fall 2013, 190 Students, 8 Assistants), General Chemistry I (Spring 2014, 322 Students, 13 Assistants), Inorganic Chemistry Laboratory (Spring 2014, 15 Students). Responsibilities: Planning and delivering lectures, Preparing and organizing examinations, Managing teaching assistant duties and weekly meetings.

Investigations of the synthesis of gallium- and indium-nitrogen molecules as potential single-source precursors to nitride nanoparticles. Responsibilities included: planning and execution of dissertation project; publication of results in reputable peer-reviewed journals; collecting, solving, and refining SC-X-ray; diffraction data for working group; overseeing research projects of bachelor students. Published dissertation in August 2013.

Taught general chemistry supplementary lecture (3 semesters, 150 students/semester) and general chemistry laboratory (5 semesters, 48 students/semester).

Responsible for the design and alteration of water-based coatings to meet air quality standards, as well as working with sales, QC, and manufacturing to implement new/altered products. Note: Frazee was purchased by Sherwin-Williams in 2013.
