I have carried out feasibility studies and performance tests to evaluate the potential of a novel medical speaking aid. This requires extensive programming in Matlab, mainly in the areas of automatic speech recognition, speech synthesis and machine learning. The job also involved audio engineering, specifically speech recording. Other tasks: - organisation of meetings, - scientific and technical writing, - presentation of results at conferences.

Paid "Diplomarbeit" (MEng thesis). I was responsible for the analysis of data collected by the Huygens planetary probe during its descent through the atmosphere of Titan in January 2005. - Simulation of flight software in Matlab, - Analysis of compression algorithms used for channel coding, - Instrument calibration, - Analysis and interpretation of mission data (passive electric and acoustic field measurements), - Coordination of my work with a multinational team - Scientific Publication - PR events.
